About

We are a specialist maths school for 16 to 19 year olds working in partnership with Imperial College London. We are planning to open for our first group of Year 12 students in September 2023 on a site adjacent to Woodhouse College in Barnet, North London.

Our aim is to ensure that young people of all backgrounds have the chance to succeed and excel in careers in mathematics and science.

Are you curious about mathematics? Do you love solving problems? If so, you should consider applying to our school.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated mathematicians to be part of our first group of up to 40 students. As a small institution, the school will be a close-knit community where we hope our students feel welcome and supported.

Our application process will also reflect our aim to welcome young people from all backgrounds, and particularly those currently underrepresented in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Applications for September 2023 are now closed.
Curriculum
Curriculum

All students will study A Level Maths and Further Maths, and at least one of A Level Physics or Chemistry. Our partnership with Woodhouse College means students will also have the opportunity to study a fourth A Level at Woodhouse College.

However, our curriculum extends well beyond A Levels. Through our partnership with Imperial College London, students will experience a broad range of enrichment opportunities in mathematics and science.

You will have the opportunity to be mentored by academics, have regular problem-solving classes, and take part in short courses on coding, engineering, and areas of maths and physics outside of the A Level curriculum.
