After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from Christ’s College, Cambridge, Wasim started his career with Goldman Sachs as an Equities trader. Wasim moved to Marshall Wace, a Hedge Fund, in 2003 where he became a partner and Head of Risk. In 2009, Wasim founded FWE Group, an investment research consultancy. Wasim is currently studying for a PhD in Quantum Mechanics at Imperial College London after completing a Masters in Applied Mathematics in 2019. Wasim holds a range of volunteer roles including as a Governor at Dr Challoners High School and as a Trustee of the King Edwards School Trust, Mac Bevan Charitable Trust and the Angus Lawson Memorial Trust.
